It means a lot for me to win a race in the Steering Help championship, but to do it in the big competition... It certainly makes me happy. I started to think that I could do well at Mugello when I saw the first race times posted on Monday-Tuesday in the forum. But when I saw the standings it was fantastic. I play GP2 for fun, but winning is great !

2/ explique-nous comment s’est déroulé ta course. As tu réussi le sans fautes que tu espérais, ou bien as tu eu quelques frayeurs en course ?
This race is marked by the uncompetitive computer cars. They lost 4-5 seconds a lap and after just 11-12 laps I began lapping them. This intense traffic forced me to make 2 mistakes, the biggest one in lap 12 (1m29s3) when I ran out of the track while trying to overtake a CC. But I think the 3 pitstops strategy proved to be decisive. It was about the 5 fuel laps that I carried less. It was a great race for me after all. There were more laps with overtakes than the clean ones.
Like I said the strategy proved decisive. 5 fuel laps count in a race of 58 laps. It was a difficult decission to take but finally, after doing a lot of practice I decided to make 3 pitstops. I gambled but it proved to be a winning bet.
I apreciated the track before winning the race. I like this kind of fast corners track. I like especially the second intermediate segment. The curbs were wide and a thing that I like about his track is that driving without SH didn't prove to be a certain advantage. I know this track from the motorcycling championship that I follow very closely.
Well, I have a friend that plays a lot GP2 and in a competitive way of doing that. But he said he will wait for the new season to come. Maybe he will be my partner. I'd like this to happen. It's much more fun when you race in a team with another person.
Like I said I do hope to have a partner. But if this won't happen I'd like to enter an older team, of course if they accept me. I'll anounce it exactly when my friend decides.

It's not a handicap. I think everybody knows a little bit of English and I can discuss with everyone. I know it's weird when I put a message in the forum in English, in the middle of thousands of French messages. I understand French very well but it's very hard for me to write it.
I studied English and a lot of Spanish, no French. But French, like Spanish too, has a lot of words that are similar to the Romanian ones. I entered a French league not because of the language (like I explained); I did it because I like the way of racing and especially the atmosphere around the competitions. Everybody is everybody's friend. CVGP2i is like a big racing "family".

The most important qualities that are required in SH ON driving are braking without locking the wheels and controling the throttle around the corners (especially at the exit). It's my opinion. I don't master these tehniques perfectly, but controling the throttle I think is the quality that helped me win races in the SH ON championship.
Romania it's a country located in the Eastern Europe with opening to The Black Sea. It has 23 million habitants. It's a country that suffered major changes in the last 10 years, after the December 1989 Revolution when the dictator Ceausescu was executed. It was the last of the Red Countries that got rid of the comunists. Unfortunately the leaders of this country found that the best thing to do is to steal as much as possible and to "resolve" the national problems in favor of another countries. The lack of national dignity made us suffer; meanwhile countries around us (Hungary) walked forward in the European integration (NATO, EU).

Now the Romanian people has the biggest chance in the last 10 years to find the good path. My opinion is that Corneliu Vadim Tudor is the perfect president for our country (not Ion Iliescu who is an ex-comunist and ex-president from 1990-1996). The elections (2nd round) would take place on 10th of December. This was the political presentation of Romania.

But there are a lot of domains where Romania is fighting for the first places. One of this domain is sport. Football and gymnastics made us famous through the years in major competitions. Gheorghe Hagi is an idol in Romania, the same with gymnasts like Nadia Comaneci (the first one to get a 10.00, in Los Angeles Olympic Games). Unfortunately, because of the lack of money, some sports almost disappeared like ice hockey (my favourite sport) and auto racing.

I live in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, a city with 2 million inhabitants. It's a city that suffered modifications and I think in 5 - 10 years will exactly as other occidental capital. It's all about money and patience.

Romania has a lot of natural beauties that are not exploited at the maximum. The Carpathians Mountains are extraordinary beautiful. A unique natural beauty is the Danube Delta (the Danube goes into the Black Sea). This is a natural reservation with an enormous variety of animals and plants that are found only here.

Economically speaking Romania is an agriculture country. But in the last years industry developed a lot a things started to move in our economy. Unfortunately the good economists go for politics and want to be president, instead of doing what they do best. Well if there any things that you might want to ask about Romania, please contact me. It's a small country with economic problems, but this won't last for long.

(I do hope it's correct; it's hard for me to write and speak French)

Thanx for the oportunity to take part in the Interview section of CVGP2i.
